Great protection deserves the right care. Whether it’s PPF, vinyl wrap, or ceramic coating, we’ve got simple tips to help you wash, maintain, and get the most from your protection.

Paint Protection Film

Paint Protection Film (PPF) Care Guide

Wait before washing: Give your vehicle 48 hours after install before its first wash — this helps the film settle fully.
Clean regularly: A gentle wash routine keeps your PPF performing and looking its best. We recommend washing every 1–2 weeks.
Remove contaminants fast: Things like bird droppings, bug stains, tree sap, or fuel spills should be cleaned off ASAP to prevent staining.
Self-healing magic: Light scratches and swirl marks will self-heal at room temperature in 20–30 minutes. In cold weather, pour hot water over the area to speed it up.
Be gentle around edges: If pressure washing, keep the nozzle at least 1 metre away and avoid spraying directly at film edges. Use a soft mitt to gently clean any edge build-up.
Avoid harsh products: Skip the solvents, degreasers, and abrasive cleaners — these can damage the film’s topcoat. For best results, use pH-balanced products or reach out to us for product recommendations.
No picking or poking: Don’t try to push out moisture bubbles or lift film edges — these usually settle on their own. If anything seems off after a few days, just give us a shout.

Wait before washing: Hold off for at least 48 hours after install to let the wrap settle properly.
Keep it clean: A regular wash routine (every 1–2 weeks) helps prevent build-up and keeps your wrap looking fresh.
Treat stains quickly: Bird droppings, bugs, tree sap, and fuel spills should be removed as soon as possible to avoid staining or etching.
Wash with care: Use a soft mitt and gentle, pH-balanced soap. Avoid automatic car washes — especially ones with brushes.
Mind the edges: If using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle at least 1 metre away and avoid directing water at the wrap’s edges.
Skip the harsh stuff: Avoid degreasers, abrasive cleaners, and solvent-based products. If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re happy to recommend wrap-safe options.
Let it be: Don’t pick at the wrap or try to push out bubbles. If anything looks unusual after a few days, just get in touch and we’ll take a look.

Ceramic Coating

Ceramic Coating Care Guide

Let it cure: Avoid washing your vehicle for 7 days after application to allow the coating to fully bond.
Be gentle early on: If your vehicle gets dirty during the cure window, rinse lightly with water or use a clean, damp microfiber cloth — no soaps or chemicals.
Wash regularly: A fortnightly wash keeps the coating performing at its best. Use pH-neutral soap and a soft wash mitt.
Dry it off: After washing, dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel to reduce water spots and keep that glossy finish sharp.
Top up, not strip down: Avoid abrasive polishes, harsh chemicals, or clay bars — they can compromise the coating’s hydrophobic layer.
Contaminants still matter: While coatings resist staining, things like bird droppings, tree sap, and bug splatter should still be cleaned off as soon as possible.
Avoid wax-based products: They can mask the coating and reduce performance. If you’d like a boost product, we can recommend ones that are coating-safe.
